The NODEE shopping guide
Find a product that fits your space, routine and preferred way to unwind.
You do not need the longest feature list. Begin with what you want the product to do, where you will use it and how you prefer to control it.

Choosing a sound machine
For a bedside table
Compare the sounds you would actually use, the volume controls and whether you prefer timed or continuous playback. Check how the device is powered and whether its light or display suits your room.
Browse sound machines →For travel
Check the size, weight, charging connection and whether the model has a rechargeable battery. Runtime depends on the product and settings; check the individual page and ask us if you need a specific detail.
Browse portable sound →Choosing evening lighting
For reading, consider where the light points and whether you need a clip-on design. For a bedside table, compare the base, brightness controls and charging method. Red and amber describe light colour; they do not by themselves establish a medical or therapeutic benefit.
Choosing an eye mask or sleep audio
For an eye mask, compare the contour, nose area and strap position. With sleep headphones, consider where the speakers sit, the connection method and whether the electronic parts can be removed for cleaning. Comfort varies by person, so check these details against your usual sleeping position.
Clocks and family routines
Wake-up lights, vibration alarms and children's routine clocks provide different types of cues. Compare the actual alarm method and controls on the model you choose. For children's rooms, an adult should set up the product and keep powered devices, cords and small parts out of the child's sleep space.
Before you order
- Check the exact product and any available options.

How do I choose a sound machine?
Start with where you will use it. Compare the sound choices, controls, timer and power source on the product page. If a dark room matters to you, ask us about the light and display controls for the particular model before ordering.
What is the difference between red and amber lighting?
They have different light colours. Amber offers a warm reading glow, while red provides a different night-time lighting option. Compare brightness levels, beam direction and the product's stated specifications to choose what suits your space.
